Privacy Policy

Lotería is a tabletop card caller. You do not need a Sunrise account to use it. Your game and settings stay on your device; Apple handles purchases and Google provides advertising and consent services.

This policy explains how Sunrise Web Studios LLC (“Sunrise,” “we,” or “us”) handles information in the Lotería iPhone app and at loteria.sunrisewebstudios.com. Contact hello@sunrisewebstudios.com with privacy questions or requests.

1. Information stored on your device

Lotería has no Sunrise-operated account, login, profile or app-managed cloud synchronization. The app stores preferences locally, including your theme, caller voice, interface language and caller interval. It also saves the current shuffled deck, called-card and review positions, playback progress and elapsed calling time so an interrupted game can continue.

Local counters and game identifiers help the app manage advertising frequency and review eligibility. These are not a Sunrise online profile. Apple and Google’s SDKs may also keep purchase or consent state on the device. The app’s own game and preference storage is not sent to a Sunrise server by the app.

The card artwork and caller audio are bundled in the app. Lotería does not ask you to record a voice or upload your boards.

Notifications

The optional Weekend Reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device for Fridays at 5 PM local time, with your iOS notification permission. Its preference and scheduling stay on the device: Sunrise operates no push server for it, receives no APNs push token and receives no notification scheduling data. Turn it off in Lotería Settings or disable Lotería notifications in iOS Settings.

2. Apple purchases

Remove Ads Forever is an optional one-time Apple in-app purchase that removes advertising, without unlocking gameplay or content. Apple’s StoreKit handles the purchase, payment and restoration. The app checks Apple-verified transactions and current entitlement status to decide whether to show ads, including changes from refunds or revocations.

Sunrise does not receive your payment-card details through the app or operate a purchase-verification server. Apple processes account, payment and transaction information under its own terms and Privacy Policy. Apple may make sales and financial reports available to developers through its services.

3. Google advertising and consent services

The free experience uses Google AdMob for a small banner ad and occasional interstitial ads at game boundaries. It uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent information and present privacy messages and options when required. Ad requests are gated on the purchase-entitlement check, the absence of ad-removal entitlement and Google’s consent eligibility state.

Google and advertising partners may process information such as:

• IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
• device and app information, operating system, and device or advertising identifiers where available and permitted;
• ad requests, impressions, taps and other ad or app interactions;
• performance information, crash information and other diagnostic data;
• consent choices and information needed to determine which privacy messages apply.

These services use information to deliver and measure advertising, manage consent, detect fraud and abuse, and operate and improve their services. Processing depends on the service, region, device settings and applicable choices; declining personalized advertising does not necessarily eliminate all advertising-related data processing. Google’s advertising SDK declares analytics and diagnostic purposes of its own.

When a verified Remove Ads Forever entitlement is active, the app stops requesting and displaying ads. Google’s consent-information update can still run at launch or when the app returns to the foreground; ad removal does not mean all third-party services or network activity are disabled.

4. Tracking permission and privacy choices

Lotería does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. Sunrise’s app code does not read the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). On supported iOS versions, access to IDFA is restricted without ATT authorization. This does not prevent Google from processing other permitted identifiers or the information described above; the SDK’s general data disclosures cover capabilities beyond this app’s own code.

Google may present a consent message when required. When Google reports that privacy options are required, Settings → Privacy Options lets you revisit available choices. Availability varies by region and consent state. You may also manage relevant privacy settings on your iPhone. If a choice cannot load, check your connection and try again.

Sunrise does not sell personal information. We do not operate a personal-data brokerage or send your saved game to advertisers. Google advertising can involve processing that some laws classify as sharing for targeted advertising; applicable choices are provided through Google’s consent tools. Contact us if you need help exercising a privacy right.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

Sunrise has not integrated a separate product-analytics or crash-reporting service in Lotería. This does not exclude Google’s SDK measurement and diagnostics described above, or information Apple may provide under your Apple device-sharing settings and Apple’s policies.

6. Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send, such as your iPhone model, iOS version and app version. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot and maintain necessary support records. Our email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store it. Please do not include passwords or payment-card details.

7. This static website

This website has no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, embedded third-party widgets or client-side cookies. It does not use JavaScript or browser storage. Images and styles are served from this site. Following an external link or opening an email link takes you to the relevant service, which has its own practices.

Our hosting provider necessarily receives connection information when serving pages, such as your IP address and requested URL. Standard server logs may also include request time, browser information, referring page and response status. These may be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot hosting. We do not use this website to build advertising profiles.

8. Retention, deletion and your rights

Local app data remains until replaced or removed on the device. New Game resets the current game; it does not erase all preferences. Deleting the app normally removes its local data, although device backups and later restoration may retain or restore copies under your Apple settings. Restoring an Apple purchase does not restore an earlier game.

We retain support correspondence as needed to address your request and meet legitimate recordkeeping or legal needs. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s settings and operational retention practices. We do not promise a fixed retention period for systems whose retention we have not independently established. Apple and Google control retention for information processed by their services under their policies.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Where consent is the basis for processing, withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email us to make a request concerning information Sunrise holds; we may need proportionate verification before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

We cannot remotely access or delete your local game, change Apple’s purchase records, or directly erase all information independently controlled by Google. We can help identify the relevant device controls or service request channels.

9. Service providers, legal needs and security

Information may be processed by the Apple, Google, hosting and email services described above, including in countries other than where you live. Their policies explain their processing and applicable safeguards. We may disclose information we hold when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a lawful business transfer subject to applicable protections.

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children and general audiences

Lotería is a general-audience tabletop companion, not a service directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a Sunrise account or profile, and the app has neither. The free app includes third-party advertising and consent services as described above. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use and purchases. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Sunrise, contact us so we can address it and delete it where required.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app, services or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
